The 2016 retail remodel project in Nashville, TN will transform a 3200 square foot corner tenant space in a local shopping mall into a boutique for Frock You, a high-end  cocktail dress retailer aimed at women ranging from ages twenty to fifty. This modern, open-space will feature an achromatic color scheme of whites and greys with accents of rose gold. Marble counters will provide an air of sophistication, while fixtures in low-value, low-intensity red metallics will add drama and femininity to the space.

  Rectilinear shelving and accent pieces, white tile flooring mirrored by white metallic ceiling tiles, and sleek lighting fixtures in rose gold metallics and translucent glass will provide a modern shopping environment, while plush seating in a warm rose color will add texture to the luxurious atmosphere. Dresses will be primarily showcased on tall, ceiling-mounted wall fixtures, as well as other vertical fixtures scattered across the boutique floor, thus providing emphasis on the product..

  Dressing rooms will be spacious and private with large doors featuring electrochromic glass panels. Tall mirrors will be provided to assist in customer’s dressing room needs, and add a feeling of volume to the space, as well as bench seating to supply comfort for those guests waiting for customers to try on garments.

  The employee areas will consist of a private office for managers to conduct financial and private business, a break room to offer employees the opportunity to eat and relax in comfort with the amenities required to do so, a storage room for any extra product, supplies, and maintenance materials, a locker area to securely house employee belongings, and a fully accessible restroom. These areas will not be as upscale as the retail floor, but will still echo the modern design and clean aesthetic seen in the main shopping area.
